We continue to engage with the Department and HSE. Your committee feel some progress has been achieved but we have concerns around the proposals on safe working hours and continue to engage on safer work patterns that take account of doctor safety, patient safety and work/life balance for NCHDs. Any agreement must clearly demonstrate efforts by the employer to address these issues along with a robust verification system for monitoring compliance.
We urge you to continue to report to email@example.com all and any contract breaches. Since the launch of our #standingUP4NCHDs campaign many of you have come to the IMO for assistance and we have been successful in resolving both individual and group issues. Your Union is important and we are always there to support and fight for you, your colleagues and future generations of NCHDs.
