Many thanks for your responses to my previous e-mail regarding the IMO Future Consultant Forum.

It’s heartening that so many future Consultants are keen to input into our Fight for Fairness campaign, which seeks to overturn the pay discrimination suffered by colleagues upon their appointment to Consultant posts.

 

Given the seriousness of this issue, and the consequent and unprecedented number of vacant Consultant posts, the IMO Consultant and NCHD Committees will vote on a joint motion during our AGM to discuss this issue.

 

That session will take place at 11.00 on Saturday, 27^th April in the Hotel Europe in Killarney, Co Kerry and the motion to be debated can be found here.

 

Our AGM typically attracts considerable media attention, and I would be delighted to see you there, and having your say on this most important issue, which will, after all, directly impact upon you.
