Consultant On Call Payments
We wanted to remind members about their contractual entitlement to be paid on-call payments.
As you will be aware we have undertaken a large number of individual consultations with Consultants on the terms of the Public Only Consultant Contract (POCC 2023) and we noted a number of Consultants are not claiming their entitlement.
We firstly would remind all members that we can schedule a consultation, in person or virtually, on the new contract, or indeed on any other issues. Please email consultants@imo.ie to make an appointment.
In terms of the POCC 2023 and the variants of the 2008 Contract the B and C Factor Rates applicable are dependent on the contract you hold. The B Factor payment relates to the liability to be on-call, while the C-Factor relates to the actual call outs.
The rates below are correct as of 1st March 2023. Please see the applicable table below dependent on your contract type:
