Public Sector Pay Increases April 1 2017

On April 1st, 2017, all employees of the public health service who currently earn below €65,000 annually will receive a €1,000 rise in their annual salary. This payment will be provided on a pro-rata basis, which means that affected employees will receive a gross wage increase of approximately €38.46 in their fortnightly pay check.

In addition, roles which attracted an annual salary above €65,000 before the implementation of the Haddington Road Agreement will be receive a 50% restoration of the deductions made as part of this agreement. This means that all public sector employees, including all doctors employed in the public health service, will receive an increase of their income on 1 April 2017.

The increases to your NCHD salary are shown on the table here at this link
