AGM 2016
IMO AGM 2016 – Message from President
The IMO Annual General Meeting 2016 will take place in the Clarion Hotel, Sligo from 31st March to 3rd April. Registration and programme information will be circulated to all members early January. This is an important event and I would encourage you to make every effort to attend so please Save The Date.
AGM Motions from individual members and branches are critical to the development of policy and are a key feature of the AGM generating lively debate and informing Council and the Specialty Committees of members views on a wide range of issues from national health policy, contractual matters to organisational issues. I would encourage all members to get involved in submitting motions for debate either individually or through your local GP Branch or Hospital Committee.
We have very active National Specialty Committees and these are vital to the work and success of the Organisation. Think about getting involved, if you are interested please contact IMO and we will be happy to put you in touch with a committee member to discuss.
