The IMO will be holding a National Meeting on Saturday 9th November in the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Dublin. The meeting aims to inform and discuss with members the key indutrial relations issues in terms of GMS and recent Government annoucements. Additonally there will be an update on the legal case- Competition Authority v IMO, which is critical to establishing the rights of GPs to be represented by the IMO in the context of the GMS and other publicly funded contracts.

The IMO position is that General Practice is key to any health reform and can do so much more if properly resourced, at the National Meeting we intend launching an important initiative in this regard.

Our aim is to ensure the meeting is as valuable as possible for our members and recognising the importance of CPD we have included three sessions at the National Meeting dealing with Taxation, Medicao Legal issues and a clinical session on Psychiatry.
