Balancing a Strong Economy and an Equitable Society

Evidence shows that more equal societies have fewer health and social problems and are better able to cope with economic downturn. During the boom years economic growth failed to filter down to the poorer classes and recent austerity measures have done little to address income disparities. On our 30th anniversary the IMO has invited some of Ireland’s leading think tanks to present their vision for economic growth and a more equitable society.
