IMO AGM Sessions for GP Trainees
The IMO AGM is taking place from Thursday, 20th April to Saturday 22nd April in the Radisson Blue Hotel & Spa in Galway.
There are a number of different sessions and speakers which may be of interest to you. A full agenda can be found here. In particular we have dedicated the Thursday evening (20th April) to GP Trainees and we would invite you to attend the following two Educational sessions:
Rheumatology Skills Training – Joint Injections (5.30 – 7pm)
Professor Trevor Duffy, Clinical Director and Consultant Rheumatologist, Connolly Hospital, will provide a practical demonstration of joint injections for those interested in improving their skills in pain management.
Life after GP Training (7 – 8pm)
Dr Mait Ó Faoláin, IMO GP Committee member and the IMO IR Unit will provide a practical interactive talk to GP Trainees on what they might expect on leaving the training scheme.
These sessions will be open to members and non-members and we would encourage you to let your colleagues know.
