In June 2011 the IMO presented the New Business Model for General Practice to Ms Roisin Shorthall, TD, Minister of State, Department of Health with responsibility for Primary Care. At that meeting the IMO Chief Executive, Mr George McNeice, highlighted the proactive approach taken by the IMO and its GP members in developing General Practice to its full potential.
