As you may be aware on foot of a Government decision in July 2013, lobbied for by the IMO, Caps on Professional Indemnity are to be adjusted in line with the CPI health commodity group.

As a result Caps on Professional Indemnity for private practice have been raised by 4.5% effective from 1 July 2014. Confirmation of same has been received by the IMO from the Department of Health and the letter with details of the revised rates can be read below.
