The IMO is aware that some of our GP members have received communication from Mr Patrick Burke, Primary Care Reimbursement Service, in regard to withholding out of hours payments pending further consideration by the HSE.  If you are in receipt of such correspondence please advise the IMO immediately (Ph 01 6767273/Fax 01 6612758/email cbutler@imo.ie).  We are considering Mr Burke’s letter and will be in touch with you shortly with regard to advice on the matter.  In the meantime GPs are advised to continue to make claims as normal.
