IN THIS SECTION
The core function of the IMO is to provide an industrial relations service to our Members. At any given time, in addition to advising and representing Members in a personal capacity, the IMO Secretariat will be representing Doctors on several national, regional or group issues. These issues require that the IMO engages with the HSE and the Department of Health on national or regional issues or with Hospitals on group and local issues. As part of these engagements, the IMO represents Doctors as employees or as professional service providers. In addition to this, the IMO also actively engages with health service employers to shape policy so as to deliver the best outcomes to our Members and their patients
