Group Life Scheme

It provides protection for your family against financial hardship in the event of your death. Membership of this extensive group provides preferential conditions of entry and competitive life cover costs.

Registered doctors, their spouses and surgery employees under age 55 may enter at any time, subject to underwriting.

• Cover is available in units of €150,000 Life Cover. New entrants can select a level of cover up to age 50 from one unit up to a maximum of 10 units (€150,000). From age 51 to age 54 new entrants can select up to 2 units of cover.
• On accidental death, the benefit is doubled.
• The ceasing age of cover is your 70th birthday.

Cover will automatically increase by 5% each year. The premium will also increase by 5% annually.

You may be eligible for tax relief on the premiums paid at your highest rate of tax.
